La haine movie online
However, at the beginning of the movie Andrea Sachs does not care too much about how she looks which shows the different in class and this is the reason that Miranda Priestly looks down on her and considers not hiring her. Today marks the 25th anniversary of the release of La Haine in UK theatres.
This shows the audience that they care a lot about their appearance. Such as Miranda Priestly and the people that work with her wear a lot of designer items.

Oh one more thing, it's french so you might want to try finding a copy with English subtitles or find an online torrent that contains them. Which by the way is an awesome movie to watch. Also throughout the entire film there is a lot of different class’. It has come to my attention that (or it seems to me that) no one on reddit has even seen this movie. This shows the audience that she controls people and people know here they stand with her. She makes people feel intimidated, for example the way that when she steps into an elevator no-one else is allowed to share the same one so they get out of it. Power is shown to the audience through the boss ‘Miranda Priestly’. Why Because a 16-year-old boy, Abdel Ichah, is at deaths door after having been beaten up by a police officer under questioning. The kids from the Muguets housing projects have spent all night warring with the police. I think that the film Devil Wears Prada shows elements of power and class in an interesting way throughout it. An ordinary public housing project with no more problems than most, wakes up one morning in a state of siege. However, when you compare this to ‘La Haine’ you are able to notice that this is far from true, as in this film it shows you about the bad areas in France and that not everything about France is amazing. A stereotypical association that people have with France is that it is all romantic and posh. A different film that I have seen that is set in Paris was Devil Wears Prada (2006). In the film I noticed that there is real footage at the beginning of the film throughout the introduction, in my opinion I think that this would give the audience the impression that film is based on a true story. For example, in the main town the police are polite to everyone because this is a nice posh area, however when we relate this to the way that the police treat people on the estate it is very different due to the police been rude to everyone. Initially, the community described by the film experiences cultural misunderstanding because. The audience is able to notice that there is different ways that different classes are treat in this film. The film La Haine presents an educative piece that expresses how cultural misunderstanding occurs following aspects of social-cultural constructions of the ‘good’ and the ‘evil’ in relation to issues of citizenship, immigration and foreignness. This blog will aim to summarise my findings about La Haine, what other film I have viewed that was set in Paris, stereotypical associations about France, how are French represented, and any film I have viewed that deals with elements of power and class.
